There are many reasons why we like the peridot, even if we weren鈥檛 born in August. The peridot might be what we need to complete the finishing touches to our perfect summer look. Here鈥檚 why we think it鈥檚 so popular: It has history. The Egyptians called it the 鈥済em of the sun.鈥� Some even believe that Cleopatra鈥檚 famous emerald collection might have actually been peridot. The Romans used the gem
